CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

  
Zumba - By mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Zumba Gold (40 minutes) - A modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.

Step Aerobics - A choreographed, novice to an intermediate aerobics class designed to get your heart and lungs in shape and tone your tush; it’s an excellent cross-training activity for runners, cyclists, and walkers.
Kickboxing- Cardio Kickboxing is a novice to an intermediate aerobics class that combines kickboxing techniques with fast-paced cardio; it permits participants to tame stress and increase cardio strength by punching and kicking a bag

Boot Camp - Boot Camp training often commences with dynamic stretching and running, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights/objects, pulling rubber TRX straps, pushups/sit-ups, plyometric and various types of intense explosive routines.

Basic Training - A variation of a boot camp style class mixing different styles of cardio training, weights, plyometric, and interval training.

Core and Glute Classes - Strength and Conditioning class focused solely on those areas to achieve a sculpted and toned abdomen and backside.

Group Power/Power Pump - Results driven strength training workout utilizing an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight.

HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods.

Pilates - Improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing, a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

Barre - mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body.

Yoga - In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement.

Spin Interval - Is a type of training that involves a series of low to high-intensity workouts, interspersed with rest and recovery periods. The high-intensity periods are typically at or close to an aerobic exercise, while the relief periods involve activity of lower intensity.

Spin Endurance - An energizing fast-paced workout stimulating your speed, strength and endurance. Burn calories and define your lower body.
